Today I’m sharing these wonderful Loch Lomond engagement photos! Congratulations to Mark and Emily, who waltzed their way into a Loch Lomond proposal earlier this year. The two both bought rings as a surprise for each other – how fun!
We took a day trip back to their engagement spot in a secluded garden by Loch Lomond, and relived some lovely sunset moments down by the shore.

I often get asked, ‘oh gosh will it be cringey?’ When I shoot my process is always to make things feel as natural as possible. Most of the time that looks like hanging back and leaving the lovely couple to just enjoy a spontaneous afternoon together, and snapping a tonne of laughter in place of pose. I spent such a good afternoon with Mark & Em who showed me their proposal spot and I gave them the space to relive that waltzing moment. The memories and the stories are always what makes for timeless photographs – way more than a pre-planned set of captures!
